Venerable Chökyi – “The Three Principles of the Path” Dec 2021

Venerable Thubten Chökyi teaching in person at Hayagriva Buddhist Centre on Lama Tsonkhapa’s “The Three Principles of the Path” on 26 Nov and 3, 10 Dec 2021*. Use the links below to view the teachings.

Tsongkhapa explains that renunciation, bodhichitta and a correct view of emptiness are the three pathways of mind essential for reaching enlightenment.

  • Renunciation is based on the attitude with which we turn our minds completely away from all wishes for uncontrollably recurring existence (samsara).
  • Bodhichitta is the attitude to attain enlightenment to benefit all sentient beings.
  • The correct view of voidness is realisation of the actual abiding nature of reality.

* Videos below appear in chronological order. Our first video recording for this series of teachings was made on 3 Dec 2021. There are no recordings prior to that date. The videos below are complete.
